SPOILER: everything is okay. So, today I abandoned my ride after an hour and a half because I started experiencing blind spots and other weird visual phenomena in one eye and was afraid my retina was detaching. Turns out it was just a precursor to the worst migraine I’ve ever had. Four hours and one trip to the ER later it’s confirmed that none of my eyeballs are falling apart.
