    @jono_c_davis dunno…. I used Renton Coil Spring / RCS for my old Enduro and motorcycle needs. Never had a titanium spring for forks, but titanium is an amazing material for springs

    @jono_c_davis @this_broken_machine I’m assuming it was to prevent wear but I have seen other similar springs that aren’t fully coated. I’m not sure all of them were titanium. Maybe it was legacy from the steel springs?
